During my recent business trip to Italy, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Formica, a charming establishment just outside Vignola, renowned for its exquisite cherries. To my surprise, the hotel exceeded my expectations, featuring modern, air-conditioned rooms that offered both comfort and simplicity, complete with LCD satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi—perfect for unwinding after a day of meetings. Breakfast was a delightful affair, showcasing a sumptuous spread of cold meats, cheeses, and delicious pastries, complemented by the enticing aroma of pizza baked in a wood-burning oven at the on-site restaurant. The staff, although limited in English, were consistently friendly and eager to help, making my stay all the more welcoming. While parking can get a tad hectic in the evenings, the underground lot provided peace of mind. Not to forget, Vignola's picturesque landmarks, like the Castel di Vignola, are just a short stroll away, adding a lovely cultural touch to the experience. For ocean lovers like me, although this is a land-based trip, being surrounded by such warmth and hospitality made it feel like a mini vacation amidst my professional obligations.
